Our 4 Step Training Program

Step 1: Two Week Dog Board-and-Train

During your dog’s stay he or she will live as part of our family, with the safety and comfort of our 24/7 fully staffed professional facility. We offer free pick-up and drop off for all campers!

Training is 24/7 and includes a minimum of  3 structured training sessions daily, recreational yard and play time, and most importantly training field trips ( park, beach, etc.) to proof your dogs training among real world scenarios and distractions. 

During the 2 weeks your pup will learn all of the following obiedience commands in addition to general “good manners”.

• Sit- (until released)
• Place- (lay on a dog bed, cot, beach chair, beach towel, or object until released)
• With Me- (Loose Leash Walking)
• Down- (until released)
• Off - “leave it alone” (no jumping on people, counters, furniture, etc)
• Wait - Door Manners -(won’t rush through doors until told “Ok”)
• Capable of Handling Distraction in Multiple Environments, we proof our training at the beach, park, hiking, etc. (depending on each dog’s individual needs)
• Crate & House Manners

Step 2: Included 1-1 Training Lessons 

 The next step is to make sure training is going well after K9 Camp graduation and ensure that you as the owner understand how to maintain training and continue to excel together with your dog! 

After your dog's completion of the 2 week board-and-train, during your three included 1-1 training sessions, you will be taught how to maintain and continue to improve your dog’s behavior, obedience, and your relationship. You will understand the use of verbal markers, rewards, motivation, corrections, and the tools that were used in your dog’s training program.

Step 3: Ongoing Group Classes

Training shouldn’t stop once your dog comes home, it should continue to improve as you and your dog learn and grow together! During our weekly group classes, we provide you with the information, learning, and support so that you can continue to advance your dogs skills and education throughout their lifetime.

Step 4: Lifetime Dog Support

Our training package includes full access to dog behavior training support for the lifetime of your dog. We are here for you!
